  • The Servo Controlled Respiratory Heated Humidifier is designed to deliver optimally humidified gas to adult, neonatal and infant patients. This dual feedback system is designed to optimize humidity output while adjusting to changes in the environment.

Mode Control Selection:

  • Invasive mode: is used with patients whose upper airways have been bypassed by either a tracheotomy or endotracheal tube. Invasive mode is designed to deliver Optimal Humidity, for all therapies requiring gas delivered at 37°C, fully saturated. In this mode of operation, the humidifier attempts to deliver optimal humidity to the patient (37 °C, 100 % RH).
  • Non-invasive: mode delivers comfortable levels of humidity, for face mask / headbox delivery
. This mode is suitable only for patients whose natural humidification system (i.e. upper airways) has not been bypassed, but are receiving gas via a facemask. This aims to deliver gases at a comfortable level of humidity (31 °C, 32 mg/L) for face masks.
